Hi everyone! I've missed you guys. My blog service has been down off and on all WEEK! Good grief. To be fair, though-Typepad is usually great. I'm amazed the internet works at all.
So...back to vacation photos. We spent two days at Growing Thyme Farm. (See Part One here.) Our host (Tanya) was pregnant with twin boys. I wonder if she has had her babies yet.
Check out the moss-covered outdoor fireplace. Duane made a fire for us and we enjoyed some quiet time outside after the girls were in bed. Their room was right above us and we also had a baby monitor.
Our hosts made the BEST breakfast I've ever had at a b&b. And look at that great view of a horse farm next door. Piper was so in love with the bacon. Me, too.
Two (!) kinds of homemade bread, fresh fruit, hash browns, a scramble, and the thickest, yummiest bacon I've ever eaten. All organic.
Tanya has an array of homemade jams and jellies, too. They're all delicious, but our favorites were the blackberry (from their own bushes) and carrot cake. I'm still thinking about that carrot cake jam/spread. It was so spicy and had tiny curls of carrot and raisins and it was just....good.
I love it when they hold hands.
Such pretty glass all through the house.
So many things to love...the view, the fresh air, the food.
I took a quick morning walk on their tree-lined road.
Their 200 year old sycamore tree was huge. Such a fairy tale tree.
Violet didn't pick that flower. I swear. Their 2 year old did, and gave it to her. Isn't that sweet?
Seeing the sights.
Doesn't that baby ram look happy? So does my little kid.
