We lost a wonderful friend today. Cheryl was one of Piper's fairy godmothers and an all-around great person. Here she is with Violet a few Christmases ago.
I met Cheryl many years ago when I moved to Greenville. I loved visiting her at the library where she worked. Cheryl always had such a quick wit and a great sense of humor. We stopped by to say hello almost every week. She was so, so sweet to me from day one. When I had my daughters, she'd whisk the babies out of my arms and cover them in kisses and sneak them candy.
Thanks for all the love you showered on us, Cheryl. We'll miss you so much.
Oh I'm so sorry.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. She sounds like she truly enjoyed your company, and seeing your sweet girls. It's so sad when people have to lose those who are important in their lives. Again, so sorry for your loss.

A lesson for all of us.....brighten our own little corner of the world.
What a lovely woman.

Thanks, Jill. I just can't quite wrap my head around her being gone yet. It doesn't seem real.
