I got together with old friends from college to celebrate Christy's birthday. We went to watch our friend Laura in a roller derby bout. I know so many Lauras it will make your head spin.Christy in black---funny shirt! She's a high school chemistry teacher. Laura plays for the Muertas Locas, and the North Texas championship team...the Unicorns. Her derby name is Beelzebetsy, and she's #667.

This is such a fun group of women! We came up with a plan....we'll form our own roller derby team. For one night only! No practice, no nothing...we'll just all show up in uniforms, and see what happens. Yeah, right---I'd be curled up in a fetal ball and crying in about thirty seconds.
We dined, we roller derbied, we swam, we stayed up late talking at the hotel, and some of us rode invisible horses. Great weekend!
