All right....this one was an initial failure. Adam even sat down and tried to follow the 'mystery braid' instructions. He did it, but it drove me nuts. I thought it was too complicated and it was hard to get the braid to look a consistent thickness.
So...instead, I just cut 3 strips of t-shirt fabric, braided them, then sewed the ends together. Close enough.
The Lolly Dolls (popsicle stick dolls, whatever you want to call them) are FUN! In fact, after the nuclear family, I decided to branch out.
