Given my recent posts on taxidermy, I was tickled to open my October issue of Martha Stewart Living. They have an entire article sharing Martha's collection of mounted animals.

I'd never really have pegged Martha to be a lover of taxidermy--you?
This bear cub is adorable. Martha makes sure we know that is came with a certificate identifying it as being road kill.
Funny title.
Well, ah hmm, seeing a cub bear is a bit unsettling, road kill or not. I'm not going to be a hypocrit, though, because I do love taxidermy, especially birds. I have 2 pheasants, and would love to have a tom turkey and a peacock. But where to put, and where to store? New HGTV decorator show "Deena does Dallas" or some such. She decorated a large living room with not 1 but 2 mounted peacocks.
