SOA Use what you have --semi-completed

 
I started picking through some of my yarn, and the Little Unraveler decided to help.

I used only what was in the fridge for dinner.

• Snow Peas
• Chinese Ramen Salad
• Bacon Corn Chowder  - I used this recipe for Shrimp chowder from Cooking Light,  
  but when I dug through the freezer....argh!  No shrimp.  So I cut up some maple breakfast sausage.  Less healthy, more tasty.

 
I made Mommy/Daughter headbands from velvet scraps.  I sewed beads and buttons for centers.  It's a good project to use up little scraps of fabric you like.  There are tons of tutorials on fabric rosettes out there, so just Google one.  I'm not in a tutorial mood.

I'm off to detangle.

Violet looks so adorable! Love the little outfit she's wearing, and the bow is so cute. I still can't get over her smile--it's so precious, she looks so tickled and happy!
