Adam took a break from mowing the lawn to read Miss Onederful her favorite book. He calls that her 'tomato dress'. Whenever she wears it, he calls her His Little Tomato. It's a strawberry!
Have I mentioned lately how nice and responsible and cute my husband is? Because he is. He's the kind of guy who takes out the trash because it's full. He puts his clothes in the hamper, not the floor. He mows the lawn and changes my oil. He does all those oodles of small things that are boring but make our lives easier.
I feel very lucky to have a husband who is helpful at home. We're pretty traditional....he works at a 'real job' and does the auto maintenance and outdoor chores. I do 'my sort of not so real job', all the cooking and cleaning and shopping and indoor stuff, and baby things. I know that's not going to work for everyone, but we're lucky that it works well for us.
Anyway - I know this is a vaguely nauseating post, but I am so grateful for the sweet person I share my life with. I love you, Adam-thanks for being such a nice husband!
Well, I can brag, too because Bob, um, well, Bob mows the lawn. Do NOT belittle the effort and skills behind being a homemaker. Yes, more freedom (a huge blessing) but long hours, doing things you might not want to do that particular day. I am happy, so happy, for you.
