Lace dress

Do y'all care about fashiony things?  It makes NO sense for my life since I take care of a tiny person and live in the woods, but I'm obsessed with clothes.  Making them, buying them, looking at them. I used to do costume design things for theater, and I miss it.

Here is a froofroo dress I made.  I took a vintage fitted slip, then sewed layer after layer after layer of lace ruffled on it.

I made an extra fall of lace on the back into a small bustle.  'Cause everyone wants their butt to look bigger, right? What was I thinking?  I also found some great herringbone tights on sale.  T-straps look so happy and retro and go with almost anything.

The prettiest assymetrical necklace from my friend Sandra.

I made a bauble bit by attaching a bird and nest pin to a thin headband.

So there.  That's what I wore yesterday.
