I've been sewing a lot lately. I just finished up a romper for Miss Baby from a retro pattern our friend Marcia gave us. (Thanks, Marcia!) I finished the white eyelet dress, too, I just need to photograph it.
I made view #1.
Isn't that cute retro fabric? I worried the ookiness of the polyester will make her skin crawl, but so far no complaints.
I made myself a matching scarf out of the rest of the fabric.
Maybe the polyester DOES make her sad.
Oh wait---no it doesn't.
I also whipped up a quick breastfeeding cover. I hear them inelegantly referred to as 'hooter hiders', but I suppose that is an accurate description.
Isn't this great fabric?
If I'd had Mister Baby instead of Miss Baby, I might have done the nursery in a red, blue, and gold circus theme.

Oh, my. Darling romper with matching scarf for Mommy. Yes, the fabric is fun, but your seamstress work needs a shout out, too. Hmmm, do a see that baby resembles her dad? Now, that circus toile fabric: I WANT IT!

These are sweet! Charlotte is right, Miss Baby *does* look like daddy. Thank goodness he's a handsome fella.
I'm glad you posted this stuff. Reminds me that the sewing machine needs packed.
