I felt like sewing today, but only a lacksadaisical, half-baked sort of sewing.
Here are my super instant gratification T-shirt pillows.
I took 2 graphic-style shirts, which have a habit of shrinking. That is, if you're lazy like me and refuse to air-dry things and insist on throwing everything in the drier.Find 2 pillows you're bored with. I LOVE pillows, but I get tired of them. Anyhoo----cut out a rectangle slightly larger than the pillow from the shirt. Turn inside out, stitch 3 sides, turn inside out, stuff in the pillow, and hand-sew (or cram along the machine) the last side, and viola! You're done.
I love quick, easy projects, don't you?
That is a great idea, and the pillows look awesome.
Though I have to say it took me several moments of serious examination before I realized what the Lautrec image was. I'm not sure why it looked like claws or thorns or watermelon seeds to me, but it did. Even now, I first react to the legs and have to remind myself they're legs.
My head. Welcome to it.
