Naps, Roast, Black Apples

Clyde the Cat is really into naps with Piper.  He also likes sunsets and walking on the beach and eating grasshoppers.

I'm sure you've seen some version or other of these black apples around.  They're glossy and patent leathery-ish, yes?  I'm always a big fan of the natural twig handle.  Here's a recipe here.

Of course, I saw those apples in country living - I wish they had put that on the cover, or the lace pumpkins.

I agree on the branches as handles, I always opt for them, and they make the whole experience that much more magical. Yay for that!

They look easy to make - I read in the magazine they need black food coloring, do you have any?

I don't.

I wonder if I am allergic to that too. Silly.
