My parents had a record of humpback whales singing when I was a little girl. They let me listen to it sometimes at night as a lullaby. Violet is trying to sing like them now.
(In the video, I think around 1:29 is especially beautiful....it's like some exotic underwater string instrument.)
I tied a cheapo Happy Meal toy to Piper's baby seat. She wants to chew on it so bad. She is concentrating so hard she's got little wrinkles on her forehead.
Piper uses one hand to keep her thumb wedged firmly in her mouth.
This is one sweet baby. Violet doesn't want her photo taken today, just in case you wondered. She's too busy coloring.
Adam wants grey arm warmers, he says. For arm wrestling---to keep his arms warm. So I suppose I'll make him some.
