It was a fun, offbeat con movie. I've never bought Mark Ruffalo as a leading man, so I was thrilled to see Adrien Brody cast as the lovelorn love interest. I know Brody only weighs 75 pounds, but he's hot in a really quirky way. I'm a huge Rachel Weisz fan....she's adorable in everything. Without smacking of adorableness. My favorite scene was her frantically running through her list of hobbies. I can live with Rinko Kikuchi....she was just an irritant in every scene she was in. I don't get her.
It reminded me of a Wes Anderson movie, for some reason. Like a con version of "Royal Tennebaums".
So, I'll keep this brief---it was a good show. I give it 8 armadillos.
saw this a while ago but loved all the old luggage! (obsessed with vintage) Adrien Brody's nose weighs 75 pounds!....and Mark Ruffalo reminds me of the Russian on Dancing with The Stars....this movie took me somewhere else in time which is always enjoyable.
