We are working on our pram today. Baby carriage, vintage stroller, what-have-you. When Adam was a baby, this was HIS carriage. It had also been used by some older cousins and his big brother. It was passed along to a neighbor, who kept it all these years. She was kind enough to meet us to give it back so that we could restore it for OUR baby.
It's in pretty rough shape.
Luckily for me, my husband is a genius and can fix anything.
Now we have to decide on a color. I LOVE this pink one, but if we have another baby who is a boy, I hate to force him to roll around in this.
Black is so classic. Alas....we live in Texas. So, we'd fry the baby AND look like we were attending a funeral. By the way-has that woman ever been pregnant? I'm guessing not. Maybe it's for the dog.
White is nice, but easily 'filthed'.
This is nice, too.
Black still looks so classic.
Navy? Can't decide.

I didn't think people used prams anymore. How completely fabulous you guys are.
The pram in the 6th picture (4th new one) made me start humming "Surrey with a Fringe on Top," so thanks for that.
As far as colors go, what about red? It's a nice bright color in the dark of winter, which is when you're due, right? And it's great for girls or boys. Think fire engines and candy apples and awesome nail polishes.
Or not.

Laura! Your blog is entertaining and hilarious! I looove all of your strange musings! Pope icons, stripper sculpture shoes, grody maternity clothes...just a mecca of unusual kitsch! Yay for you for keeping up with yours, too!
